Leadership
A hands-on finance & operations leader with experience in all aspects of running and positioning closely held businesses for investors.
Hi I’m Craig,
First and foremost, I’m a husband and father.
Meaning, I understand what your legacy means to you. I grasp the gravity of what we are doing here. I understand the delicate balance of ensuring that both your family and the family you’ve built over your years at the helm of your company, continue to thrive long after you step away from your craft.
You are an expert at running your business. There’s no doubt about it. You wouldn’t be here if you weren’t. However, the way you climbed to the top is not necessarily how you gracefully take your exit.
Climbing and exiting require different skills,
and I’m here to help you exit successfully.
Although I spent my early years in New York City as an investment banking analyst, reached the CFO role of a private equity backed construction firm by my mid-30s, and successfully raised hundreds of millions in debt and equity (oftentimes under unconventional circumstances), my passion has always been for owner entrepreneurs.
I’ve worked and consulted for private businesses on operational and financial matters across a wide range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, business services, consumer products, and waste management among others.
I believe that business owners just like you are the salt of the earth, making our lives better through your entrepreneurial spirit.
It’s an honor and privilege to guide you in what is usually a once in a lifetime experience of planning and executing your exit.
When I’m not at the helm of Doescher Group, being a finance and business geek, you’ll find me at the Crossfit gym, competing in some kind of fitness competition, swimming in a nearby lake, catching a round of golf, or feeding the birds in my backyard with my girls. On a really great day, I can be found exploring high alpine terrain to ski and capture with my GoPro camera.
If you have been looking for someone to help guide you through your final chapters at the helm of your own business, I’m here to help.
Let’s Talk.
Craig
