Retained as contract head of finance for Priority Waste, a Michigan-based waste company.

  • Completed $30 million equity financing from private equity investor to fund growth. Responsible for finding investor and leading entire financial due diligence, ultimately culminating in this investment.

  • Oversaw all financial aspects of integrating five acquisitions, including the J Fons Company transfer station operations in Detroit, Michigan.

  • Led various internal projects, including developing the monthly GAAP close process and QuickBooks-to-NetSuite conversion.

  • Regularly presented to company executives and investors.

  • Result: secured growth funding to advance company’s strategic plan and laid groundwork to scale company.
