Every business and its owners have a unique story to tell. During discovery, we make it our goal to understand you and your business, spending as long as it takes to understand your unique terrain, the obstacles you’ve overcome, as well as your hopes and dreams for the future of your company you have sacrificed so much to build.
Depending on the scenario, we will also review some initial business data to further deepen our knowledge of the business.
We never want to jump to a prescribed solution for you and your business until we feel we understand your goals and objectives deeply.

Upon completion of the initial discovery period, whether you are looking to evolve or exit, Doescher Group will prepare a tailored proposal detailing the work we would perform if engaged by you.
While no client situation is exactly alike, many of our client relationships fall into one of two categories:
a time-sensitive need (e.g. in need of growth capital to fund a new project or acquisition, or need to sell the business to avoid burnout) or
a strategic desire to drive value (e.g. planning for a future exit over the horizon, or wanting to explore an internal sale of the company to family or employees).
In any case, our proposal will detail the steps we intend to take on your behalf.
We don’t take the privilege to walk through these important matters with you lightly.

Upon engagement, we will provide you with a relevant request for information and schedule our kickoff call. We strive to make the process as simple as possible, only involving you for questions we cannot work out ourselves.
We will meet with you regularly to collect relevant information, review our work, report out on our progress and insights, and whatever else is required for the project.
We try to strike the magical balance where you understand enough to see the efforts we undertake on behalf of our clients, while also not overwhelming you with things we can handle ourselves without your involvement.
